The Flemish government promotes energy-efficient renovations with the Mijn VerbouwLening, which can amount to up to 60,000 euros with favorable interest rates.

The Mijn VerbouwLening is designed to finance renovation works that contribute to a more comfortable, energy-efficient, and future-proof home. The loan can be applied for based on quotes and has a maximum term of 25 years.
One of the loan's biggest advantages is its favorable interest rates. Depending on income, the current interest rate is 0%, 0.5%, or 1.5%. Individuals in the highest income bracket are not eligible for this loan. The interest rate is reassessed annually.
The Mijn VerbouwLening is available for owner-occupiers in income categories 2, 3, and 4 of Mijn VerbouwPremie, private landlords meeting the conditions, landlords collaborating with a housing company, associations of co-owners (VME's), non-profit legal entities, and cooperative societies. After application, a technical check of the quotes and a financial analysis of income and repayment capacity will follow.
Various renovation works can be carried out with the Mijn VerbouwLening, including roof insulation, facade insulation, installation of windows and doors, heat pumps and heat pump boilers, solar panels, and preparatory works for insulation (e.g., moisture control), plumbing, and electrical installations.
The interest rate for Mijn VerbouwLening follows the legal interest rate and is adjusted annually. A rate increase from 2027 is likely, making it advisable not to delay renovation plans. This expected rate increase is currently a forecast.
