UCLL Limburg: 1,755 Diplomas Awarded, 7% More Graduates

UCLL University College awarded diplomas to 1,755 students in Limburg, representing a 7% increase from last year. The graduation ceremonies took place in October, the traditional month for these celebrations.
In total, 4,829 students earned a diploma from UCLL across Limburg and Vlaams-Brabant during the 2025-2026 academic year. The largest groups were professional bachelor's degrees (3,165) and graduate degrees (695). Additionally, 431 students obtained a post-graduate bachelor's (banaba) and 538 a postgraduate certificate.
The bachelor's program in Human Resources Management celebrated its very first graduation, with approximately 70 students marking this milestone.
Specifically in Limburg, 1,125 students earned a professional bachelor's degree, an increase of over 10%. Within this group, there are 368 new teachers, 287 management students, 175 nurses and midwives, 152 orthopedagogues, and 143 technology students.
The number of graduating students with a graduate degree was 278, showing another rise. Over the last five years, the number of graduate students has increased by about half.
Furthermore, 102 students obtained a specialization through a bachelor-after-bachelor program (banaba), and 250 students were awarded postgraduate certificates.
Due to the large numbers, Hogeschool UCLL organized simultaneous ceremonies last weekend at the Trixxo Theater in Hasselt and the Limburghal in Genk to celebrate the graduations with all students and their supporters.
