The Mijn VerbouwLening is a highly favorable and accessible loan of up to 60,000 euros, designed to assist Flemish residents in pre-financing renovations that make their homes more energy-efficient, comfortable, and future-proof. With a maximum term of 25 years and applicable based on quotes, this loan offers considerably more favorable conditions compared to other market products, making it a vital tool for many households and homeowners.
The interest rate for the Mijn VerbouwLening this year is 0%, 0.5%, or 1.5%. Individuals with lower incomes who meet the criteria can qualify for a reduced interest rate, with those in the lowest income category even borrowing interest-free. Residents in the highest income bracket are not eligible to apply for the Mijn VerbouwLening. The interest rate is subject to annual changes, applicable only to new loans.
The loan can be applied for by owner-occupiers from income categories 2, 3, and 4 of the Mijn VerbouwPremie, private landlords (under specific conditions), landlords through a housing company, as well as associations of co-owners, non-profit legal entities, and cooperative societies.
The Mijn VerbouwLening can be used to finance various renovation works aimed at improving energy efficiency, such as roof or facade insulation, high-performance glazing, heat pumps (or boilers), and solar panels.
