Nicolas Baise will become the new CEO of the Bpost business unit, one of the three activities of the international logistics group Bnode, effective January 1, 2027.
Nicolas Baise, currently Chief Operations Officer and member of Bnode's Executive Committee, will assume leadership of the Bpost business unit (BU) as CEO starting January 1, 2027. Bnode, formerly Bpostgroup, is an international logistics group that includes Paxon and Landmark Global alongside Bpost. Bpost is the most recognizable activity within the group.
In his new role, Baise will focus on the continued execution of the BU's operational and commercial priorities and the realization of the transformation agenda. Until the end of the year, he will remain responsible for a successful peak season from his current operational duties.
He succeeds Chris Peeters, who has served as interim CEO of Bpost since May 2025, in addition to his role as CEO of Bnode. This appointment ensures Bnode's continued attention to Bpost's challenges while sharpening the focus on the Group's further transformation.
“
"I want to congratulate Nicolas Baise on his appointment as CEO of the Bpost BU. Nicolas has played a key role in the transformation and operational performance of Bpost in recent years. His experience, deep understanding of the company, and strong focus on execution make him ideally suited to lead the Bpost BU in the future."
Concurrently, Christel Dendas (Chief Commercial Officer) and Frank Croket (Chief Digital Officer), both members of Bnode's Executive Committee, have reached an agreement with Bnode to end their collaboration. Frank Croket will remain with the company during a transition period to ensure a smooth handover. To further simplify the business model and strengthen the focus on execution, the Group will anchor commercial leadership more firmly within the business units, bringing decision-making closer to customers and operational reality.
“
"I also want to thank Frank and Christel for their commitment to the company and wish them success in their future endeavors."
The company's strategic priorities remain unchanged. Preparations for the peak season are well underway, and the leadership and organizational structures are in place to support the next phase of execution.
